Available-for-Work List Procedures
Sign the Books for the First Time
New Members and Travelers from other locals can complete the initial sign-in to the available-for-work list online by clicking the link below. After being added to the available-for-work list, you will gain access to the Local 602 member portal for re-signs and all future book signings.
Dispatch Rules and Procedures
DISPATCH IS AT 9:00 A.M. EACH WEEKDAY MORNING.
AVAILABLE-FOR-WORK LIST SIGN-IN TIME: ALL DAY
OFFICE HOURS: 8:00 A.M. TO 5:00 P.M., MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY
Sign-In: Complete the original sign-in online by submitting the required documentation. After the initial sign-in, you will receive an email providing further instructions regarding access to the Local 602 member portal for bidding on jobs, re-signs and future book signings.
Alternatively, you may sign in person during business hours (8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.), Monday through Friday at 200 S. Fannin in Amarillo or 405 50th Street in Lubbock.
Re-sign:
Failure to re-sign between the 10th and 16th will result in removal from the available-for-work list. Purging occurs the next business day after the 16th.
Job Call Procedures:
- Sign your appropriate book only with confirmation of termination from your last employer.
- All calls for manpower are posted on the website the evening prior to dispatch.
- To view job listings, check “Jobs Available” in the Member Portal or LaborPower app.
- Indicate your interest by bidding on jobs through the Member Portal or LaborPower app between 5:00 P.M. and 9:00 A.M. on business days and anytime on weekends and holidays, or call the Amarillo Hall at (806) 376-9945 or the Lubbock Hall at (806) 744-4062 between 8:00 A.M. and 9:00 A.M. the morning after a call is posted.
