2026 Classes Have Concluded

The 2026 Continuing Education classes have concluded. Thank you to everyone who attended.

Spring 2027 Continuing Education classes will be announced later this year. Please check back for updated class dates, locations, registration details, and payment information.

Class Locations:

Classes are typically scheduled on Saturdays from 8 am to 12 pm, unless noted otherwise.

Course Credit:Upon completion of the course, each attendee with a TDLR electrical license will receive a four (4) hour credit posted to their license. This course is beneficial for licensed electricians and is also open to members who may not hold a TDLR Electrical license but are interested in learning more about updates to electrical codes, laws, rules, and safety practices.

  1. Texas State Laws and Rules for Electricians: A comprehensive overview of current laws and regulations as published by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. This segment helps attendees stay informed about the legal requirements governing electrical work in Texas.
  2. Significant Changes to the NEC: A review of important updates and revisions in the National Electrical Code. These insights are important for electricians working to maintain high standards of safety and compliance.
  3. Electrical Hazard Awareness Based on NFPA 70E: A focus on electrical safety in the workplace, including hazard identification, risk assessment, and preventive measures based on NFPA 70E standards.
